I took Wednesday off. I was thinking of taking Thursday off, but when I drove home on Wednesday evening and the temperature on my care thermometer showed 104, I decided I'd just take Wednesday off instead.
I made sure to run easy on Thursday to try to have fresher legs for Friday's hard workout. I ran 6 miles at 7:50 pace in 47 minutes. Not too exciting, but I didn't feel tired after it which was good.
I live in Houston and enjoy running with the Kenyan Way. I'm trying to break the seemingly ever elusive 2:45 mark for a marathon, 1:15 for a 1/2 marathon and 16:00 for a 5k.
