Tuesday 8.25 miles

I headed out for a run at lunch under the blazing sun. Fortunately I got a little bit of cloud cover during the run. My legs were kind of fatigued from Tuesday's workout so I didn't push it too hard. I got down to 7:20 - 7:25 pace and held it there for most of the run. I did 4 strides at the end of the workout. My splits were 7:48, 7:24, 7:22, 7:22, 7:20, 7:14, 7:25, 9:13 for last 1.25. This may be my highest mileage week since the Boston Marathon so I need to be careful not to push too hard on tired legs and risk getting injured.
